Privacy Policy
Our promise
One named person. We never give your number to a community until you say so. No handoffs to “partners.” We do not sell your information. We do not share it with any senior-living community without your consent.
What we collect
- About you: name, phone number, email (optional), your relationship to the person who needs care, preferred language.
- About the person who needs care: first name, age, where they are now, what happened, memory, mobility and medical needs and any behaviours you choose to tell us about, who pays and the monthly budget, Medicaid timing, the move deadline and who set it, the area, must-haves, and who decides.
- Payment: your card is held by Stripe. We do not see or store the full card number.
- Calls and messages: transcripts of calls with our automated assistant; audio recordings only where the assistant told you the call was recorded; the texts and emails we exchange.
- How you found us: ad click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, msclkid), campaign tags (utm), the page you landed on and the site that sent you, kept in a first-party cookie for 90 days; and site analytics if enabled.
How we use it
- To do the work you asked for: choose which communities to call, ask the right questions, write and deliver your report, and arrange tours when you ask.
- To text and email you about your request, and to charge your card when we deliver.
- To see which of our ads work. We send Google, Meta or Microsoft only the click identifier, the name of the event (for example, “card saved” or “case charged”), its time and its value — never your name, contact details or anything about health.
What communities learn
When we call a community we describe the need in general terms (for example, “a woman in her 80s who needs memory care, moving within two weeks”) and use a case reference, not your name. We give a community your name or number only when you tell us to. The answers communities give us — availability, prices, fees and policies — are information about those businesses; we keep it, with the date, as part of our record of senior-living availability and prices. That record does not contain your name or contact details.
Service providers
We use these companies to run the Desk. They process information for us and only to provide their service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages and our phone number), ElevenLabs (the automated voice assistant and call transcripts), Anthropic (drafting your report from the case facts and the communities’ answers), Resend (email), Supabase (our database), Vercel (website hosting), and Google, Meta and Microsoft (ad measurement only, as described above). [Counsel: confirm data-processing terms with each.]
Text messages
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for help.
How long we keep it
- Case records and call transcripts: [24 months] after your case closes, then deleted.
- Audio recordings (only where you were told the call was recorded): [90 days].
- Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires.
- Community availability and price records (no family identifiers): kept, because they are the record.
Your choices
- Ask us at desk@placein72.com to see, correct or delete your information. We will do it within [30] days, except records the law requires us to keep.
- Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.
Health information
We are not a health-care provider. [Counsel: confirm we are not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate.] We still treat what you tell us about health as sensitive: we collect only what we need to find a suitable place, only your advisor can see your case, and our providers encrypt it in transit and at rest.
Children
The Desk is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
State privacy rights
[PLACEHOLDER — counsel to confirm which state consumer-privacy laws apply at our size and add any required notices.]
